The Music app doesn't have a sleep timer built into Apple's Podcasts app. We are here to correct this design inconsistency.

You have two options to set your iPhone's sleep timer.

1. Set Apple Music Sleep Timers Using the Clock App

You can set the Clock app to stop music from playing at the end of your time. Here are the steps:

  1. Open the Clock app for your iPhone and tap Timer at the bottom right.
  2. Next, select the length of your sleep timer. Because that's the average time it takes to fall asleep, we chose 30 minutes. However, your mileage may vary. After completing this step, tap the "When Timer Ends" button.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom, and then tap Stop Playing. Next, tap Set.
  4. The timer screen will be displayed again. Tap Start.
  5. Apple Music can be opened to listen to any song you wish. When the timer is over, the music will stop automatically.
  6. Create an Automated Sleep Timer

You can also set an Apple Music sleep timer by creating automation routines for your iPhone. This allows you to stop music from playing at a specific time each day.

This method is best for people who have a regular sleep schedule. It's not ideal if you have a lot of sleeping time. Here are some suggestions:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app for your iPhone.
  2. Click the Automation tab at the bottom.
  3. Tap the blue button that says Create Personal Automation if you have never used automation on your iPhone.
  4. Tap Time of Day to choose the time you want Apple Music to pause. Tap Next.
  5. Tap Add Action.
  6. Type Pause in the search bar at the top. Tap Play/Pause next to the red play/pause icon.
  7. Tap Play/Pause again and choose Pause from the bottom menu.
  8. Tap Next to disabling Ask Before Running

Now you can play music every night on your iPhone, and it will automatically pause when you choose.
