The Galaxy S20 FE was an excellent value Android phone. Is the Galaxy S20 FE the same as its successor? Or should you opt for the original S21? Since the 2021 delay, rumors about the Samsung Galaxy 21 FE have been circulating. The S21 FE will be a big step up from the Galaxy S20 FE, which was loved for its incredible value. Let's find out if this phone is a better value than the regular S21.
Let's begin with the price. The standard Galaxy S21 was priced at $799. However, you may be able to find it much cheaper if you look out for special offers. The Galaxy S21 FE is priced at $699, but it now has 6GB RAM as an option to the 8GB base model. This is a significant downgrade.
You also get a $100 cut, and a 64MP telephoto camera is replaced with an 8MP version without optical image stabilization. The 3x optical zoom available on the S21 FE is an upgrade.

A 32MP sensor is better than a 10MP sensor for the front camera. Unfortunately, the fingerprint sensor of the S21 FE does not have an ultrasonic but is optical. You get a larger battery (4500mAh) and a slightly larger screen (6.4 inches).
The Galaxy S21 FE makes some intelligent compromises to provide noticeable improvements. We can't claim that the Galaxy S21 FE is a better value than its regular Galaxy S21 price. The "Fan Edition" label would have been justified if the device were priced at just 100 dollars.
