The First Samsung device to be released in 2022 will be the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition). Compared to the S21 series, which Samsung announced at the start of the 2021 year, Galaxy S21 FE is more focused on budget and will replace the initial FE model that was the Galaxy S20 FE from 2020.

In addition to the display, you get Corning's latest Gorilla Glass Victus protection, like the ones you'll find on its larger siblings and other top-of-the-line Android phones -- but at a lower cost. It's also important to know that this Galaxy S21 FE's 6.4-inch display is slightly bigger than the display available on the standard Galaxy S21.
The Galaxy S21 FE is powered by Qualcomm's flagship 5nm Snapdragon 888 chipset in the US. Additionally, Samsung's internal 5nm Exynos 2100 chipset powers the handset.
The two chipsets have an octa-core CPU, one high-performance core, three cores of medium performance, and four power-efficient cores.

Although Samsung could have used an overclocked Snapdragon 888 plus to power smartphones with high-end specs released in the second quarter of 2021, the standard Snapdragon 888 remains an excellent processor.
The chips that support 5G are coupled with either 6GB or 8GB and up to 256GB storage. It is available in three models, including 6/128GB, 8/128 GB, 8/128 GB, or 8/256 GB.
A lithium-ion battery with 4500mAh powers this Galaxy S21 FE, slightly more significant than the battery on the standard S21.
According to Samsung, the device supports up to 25W of wired fast charging, charging the battery from nothing to half in only 30 minutes.

Samsung's Galaxy S21 FE supports it if you're looking for wireless charging. Its maximum power is 15W, however. The device can also support reverse wireless charging, which means you can charge compatible devices, such as Samsung's Galaxy Buds.
From the beginning, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE runs Android 12. This is the latest version of Android the present. In addition, it also comes with extended software support, just like its predecessor.
The Galaxy S21 joins the list of Samsung phones which will receive the security update for four years, along with three years of significant Android updates. Also, the Galaxy S21 FE will get Android 15.

Samsung continues to run in the Galaxy Fan Edition Series
Samsung's Fan Edition series debuted in 2020 with the Galaxy S20 FE. However, after a couple of delays, the company returned with a new model that improved various aspects of Samsung's Galaxy S20 FE.
